Job Summary/Basic Function: The plumber will perform maintenance, inspection, repair, replacement, and installation work on plumbing systems, sewer line systems, or distribution lines that are both exterior and interior to facilities. Work involves measuring, cutting, threading, bending, and assembling pipe; troubleshooting, repairing, assembling, or replacing fittings, fixtures, and components; and utilizing plumbing and pipefitting installation drawings, blueprints, and schematics. This position will assist other trades employees or supervisors with complex plumbing projects and assigning and demonstrating plumbing related tasks to other trades and maintenance employees during the completion of a specific work-order.
