The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Director, Construction.
Duties for this position include:
Managing the staff and/or contracted construction managers who are responsible for the construction of capital projects and departmental projects (C Jobs) at all the Campuses of the University of Pittsburgh
Directing the activities of the Construction Managers
Reviewing project scopes and construction documents for completeness
Aiding in the preparation of the project budgets including implementation plans and schedules
Assigning projects and monitoring status and managing specific projects as assigned by the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Project Management
PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of employment.
Bachelor in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management/Business Administration with Construction Management experience. 10 plus years of experience in managing construction contractors and executing large construction projects
