Paramount Contracting is seeking an Experienced Controller to lead the finance department and work collaboratively with company leaders to drive the continued growth and success of the organization. The ability to provide accurate reporting and analysis to allow for timely decision-making is a critical component of the position. The Controller will both perform and provide oversight to core financial processes, including accounting, cash management, work-in-progress reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, audits and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will create efficiencies, bring solutions, develop people, and maintain a highly effective team.
Education, Experiences & Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in an accounting role is essential
A minimum of 5 years of providing successful leadership to a team is required
Experience in construction accounting or in a similar industry is preferred
MBA, CPA, CCIFP designation is a plus, but not required
Proficiency with technology including MS Office is required
Demonstrated community involvement is desired
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field is required
