The Facility Manager has direct responsibility for the overall site and related equipment for multiple commercial properties. Areas of responsibility include project management for all significant projects utilizing both internal staff and outside contractors. Lead assigned projects through the conceptual design, construction, bid, and closeout phases. Receives tenant repair requests, assigns duties, and follows up with tenants after repairs are completed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Management for facility and equipment including: building renovations, process improvements, repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, qualifications, expansions and relocations.
Project management for all significant projects utilizing both internal staff and outside contractors.
Providing all necessary troubleshooting and problem solving support to ensure support to ensure production times are met while at the same time adhering to Company Safety, Quality and Compliance Standards.
Coordinate with general contractors, sub-contractors, and other external vendors to achieve optimal results on construction projects.
Management of the following: Environmental Records, Permits, Pest Control, Site Inspections,
Management of facility housekeeping and grounds keeping.
Handle vendor fee negotiations.
Collaborate with applicable architects, engineers and outside contractors as assigned.
Review budgets, monitor expenses, and review schedules.
Able to read and understand equipment drawings and layouts.
Ability to concurrently handle multiple tasks and projects while working in a positive high energy environment.
Continuously questions and confirms results and recognizes when results are not in line with expectations.
Cost estimating and site analysis.
Ensure company performance goals and objectives are met.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Must have 3+ years of project management experience in a leadership role.
Strong negotiation, problem solving, and reasoning skills.
