The Project Manager manages laboratory and office renovation projects throughout the campus, from concept through design, construction, commissioning and close out. The successful candidate will evaluate site and cost considerations and advise on project viability, develop the preliminary design, prepare the scope of work, design and cost estimations. The Project Manager acts as the technical expert in contract negotiations, processing of change orders and invoices, budget management and timely progress reporting. They will also act as liaison between the customer, contractor representatives and the Architectural and Engineering Services consultants while maintaining close working relationships with management, customers, and other professionals. The Project Manager may work under the direction of a senior-level Project Manager on larger projects.
